LoftLiving II

Temporary furnished living

Stately or purist-modern? Twelve extraordinary flats with loft character await you in the Graphisches Viertel.

LoftLiving II

Lange Straße 29 · 04103 Leipzig – commission-free temporary living

Living with flair: The six flats in the nineteenth century old building with stucco façade impress with high ceilings and ornate décor. The adjoining new building blends harmoniously into the cityscape with its simple aesthetics. Here you will find six flats in a contemporary design that plays with large window fronts, cool exposed concrete and warm wooden parquet flooring.

Whether old or new, all flats are flooded with light and comfortably furnished. Always there: the direct view of the Marienpark with its splashing fountain. An open spatial concept was the inspiration for the floor plans, which were thought-out down to the last detail. Each flat in the new building has two bathrooms, one of which is en suite. Brushed Jura marble is a highlight in the bathrooms of the old building. From the roof terraces of the penthouses you can enjoy a fantastic view, and in the ground floor flat you can call a small garden your own. Both parts of the building are connected and have access to the shared lift.

At home in the Graphisches Viertel

The name already suggests it: The Graphisches Viertel has something to do with art and writing. In fact, the historic residential and commercial area rose to become Germany’s largest book trade and publishing location as early as the 19th century. Over 430 publishing houses, including Baedeker, the Bibliographisches Institut, Reclam, Kiepenheuer, Insel Verlag, Breitkopf & Härtel and Friedrich Hofmeister, had their headquarters here. The historical flair is still reflected today in the numerous Gründerzeit buildings. It is a small world of its own, and yet only a stone’s throw away from the city centre: in less than ten minutes you can be at the opera or the main railway station, for example, on foot.

Marienplatz Leipzig
Green neighbour: Marienplatz,a small urban oasis of a park, is just across the street, on Lange Straße.
